Brothers and sisters in Christ,

We are living in troubled days, and yet our Lord and Savior calls out to us. "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Fathers house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." (John 14:1-4) This is the prayer and desire of our Lord's heart! In John 17:24, Jesus prayed, "Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory!" The Apostle Paul wrote to Titus and said, "We should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ!" (Titus 2:13) How said, that so many in our day have cast off hope! My son and I were driving the other day, and the Christian radio station was on. Whoever was speaking said, "We are not even sure if there is going to be a rapture of the church." We started talking to the radio!...So many are cutting things out of the Word, instead of believing the Word. In first Thessalonians 4:15-18, Paul writes, "This we say to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up (Greek word "harpozo" ~ to carry off by force, to snatch out or away) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air! And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words." Hallelujah!!! Thank the Lord that He saves to the uttermost! He will come for His bride! One day, no one knows the day or the hour, but the cry will be heard! "Behold the Bridegroom cometh!!!" (Matthew 25:6)

At this very hour, there are so many souls in danger! They are on a slippery slope to destruction. They sad reality is, that satan has them blinded. They are dead in sin, and racing toward the lake of fire, but they think they are ok. But they are not! The Word of God warns, "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God!" (Psalm 9:17) The Word of God calls out to us today! "Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some have not the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame." (1.Corinthians 15:34) We can't save anybody, but we have been called to Go and Sow the Good Seed of the Gospel of the glory of Christ! (2.Corinthians 4:3-6) God gives the increase! (1.Corinthians 3:6-8) Don't stop Going & Sowing, until we hear the trumpet blowing!!!

PRAISE THE LORD! On Friday night we were out in Jamestown spreading the Good Seed of the Word. We met a young lady sitting on the steps of a building. As we shared the Word with her, her heart was open to the Lord. She said, "I need Jesus to forgive my sin...I need to be saved." She confessed with her mouth the Lord Jesus, and believed in her heart that God has raised Him from the dead. She called on the name of the Lord to save her! (Romans 10:9-13) Praise the Lord!! Please pray for Ashante. "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ!" (Philippians 1:6)

PRAY FOR SOULS TO BE SAVED! As we share Christ through the week, we find many confused and disillusioned. Looking for love, looking for the next high, trying to fill the emptiness in their lives, but still so empty. I spoke with a police officer near the high school, who told me of the violence and trouble among the youth. Fighting and killing. One young lady told me that her mom had overdosed several times. The hour is urgent! People need the Lord! Pray that the Lord would open blind eyes, and turn hearts from darkness to light,...from the power of satan to God, that they may know forgiveness of sins...by faith in Christ Jesus our Lord! (Acts 26:13-18) Pray for the Seeds planted! Pray that the Lord would move upon hearts and bring brokenness over sin and of their need of the Savior! Pray for godly sorrow to work repentance!

REMEMBER! "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night." (2.Peter 3:9-14) "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light!...Redeeming the time, because the days are evil." (Ephesians 5:14-16)

Thank you for standing with us in prayer! We covet your prayers! May the Lord continue to strengthen you by His mighty power day by day as you live for His glory! Keep fighting the good fight of faith! Finish the race! Keep the faith! It's not in vain! The Lord Jesus is coming, and His reward is with Him!!! (1.Timothy 6:12, 2.Timothy 4:7-8, + Revelation 22:12-13)

May the Lord bless & keep you!
Until we see Jesus! Jude 20-25

Brothers and sisters in Christ,

Jesus calls out to you and to me in the midst of a troubled world. He calls out, "Come unto Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matt.11:28)Thus says the Lord God, "In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength." (Isa.30:15)There are times of refreshing that come from the presence of the Lord! (Acts 3:19)Yet, all too often, we are too busy to come and draw near. We are like Peter and the other disciples toiling all night, and coming up with empty nets! (Luke 5:5, John 21:3) Jesus calls out, "Cast your net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some!"...So they cast in, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish. (John 21:6) They realized it was the Risen Lord! Peter jumped out of the boat and swam to shore! Then when they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread. Jesus said to them, "Come and dine!" (John 21:9-12) All our striving, and all our toiling, we come up empty, like the disciples! Oh, how we need to tune our hearts to the Word of the Lord, and wait! He is the One who turns emptiness to fullness!

Are you weary? Heavy burdened? The Lord says, "Come!" "The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable! He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength! Even youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength! They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint!" (Isa.40:28-31)

Yes! There is work to do! Yes! We have been called to GO, and work for the night is coming when no man can work! (John 9:4) Jesus said, "It was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preach in His name to all nations...and you are witnesses of these things!" BUT
WAIT!!! Don't go in your own strength! You will find yourself trying to run like an engine without gas and oil!! Impossible! Jesus said, "Without Me, you can do nothing!" (John 15:5) Jesus commanded them to "WAIT for the Promise of the Father!...You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me!" (Acts 1:4-8) We have it backwards! We try to do, do, do, without waiting on the Lord to be endued with power from on high!!! We need to be FILLED, before we can be SPILLED!!!  Oh, may the Lord teach us to wait!!! To wait on the Lord for wisdom, strength, guidance, boldness, renewal, revival....!!! ALL our fountains are in You!! "Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgements and His ways past finding out! For who has known the mind of the LORD? Or who has become His counselor? Or who has first given to Him and it shall be repaid to him? For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever! Amen!" (Rom.11:33-36)

It's time to return to the waiting room! It's time to learn to wait on the Lord! ..."They that wait on the LORD, shall renew their strength!!" (Isa.40:31)

Oh Church, let's return to the original recipe that was given by the Lord! (Isa.56:6-8, Matt.21:13)
"My house shall be called a house of prayer!" Let's get back to Acts 1:14, "These ALL continued with one accord in prayer and supplication!" Back to the Prayer Room! ~ The place of waiting on the Lord! Letting Him fill us up to overflowing, so He can spill us out for His glory!!!

May you be abundantly satisfied with the fullness of His house! May you drink from the River of His pleasures! (Psalm 36:7-10) "Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You! Let such as love Your salvation say continually, "The LORD be magnified!!" (Psalm 40:16)

Brothers and sisters in Christ,

"Praise the LORD!...Praise Him for His mighty acts! Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him!... Praise Him!... Praise Him!... Praise Him!... Praise Him!... Praise Him!... Let everything that has breath, Praise the LORD!!! Praise ye the LORD!!!" ~Psalm 150. The Lord is so worthy of all our praise! Think back and stand in awesome wonder at how He redeemed us! He bought us with His blood! He brought us from death to life! From darkness to light! He took us off the highway to hell, and put us on the road to heaven! Hallelujah!!! "When the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life!" ~Titus 3:4-7. Never lose the wonder!!! "He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet on a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth ~ Praise to our God! Many will see and fear, and will trust in the LORD!" ~Psalm 40:1-3.

Praise the Lord for what He has done as we were in Belize! Thank you for your ministry of prayer! No prayer ~ No power! It is true, as Christ is lifted up, hearts are drawn unto Him! Last week as we were in Belize, we would start our day with worship and the word + prayer! A woman who has a small food shop down the road told us she could hear the praises in the morning. The Lord was drawing her! On Sunday she came to the church for the first time! Praise the Lord!

The Lord gave us an open door in La Gracia to work with the school. Every day we had a time with the children and teachers, where we would sing and share the Word of God! We would also teach through puppets, drama, and object lessons. We taught the importance of hiding God's Word in our hearts. What a Joy to see children give their lives to Jesus! When we first came, and would ask the children to stand as we sang, the children remained seated. On the Monday, the last day, we asked the children, "If you have put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior either today or this week, and if you desire to follow Jesus, stand on your feet!" What a JOY!!! O how heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents! Praise the Lord for the many children, and two teachers who took a stand for Jesus Christ!!!

The Lord also opened a door for the Word of God in the Buena Vista School! We were told early in the week that we would not be able to get into that school to share the Gospel, BUT GOD opened the door!!! Hallelujah!!! Not only did He open doors, He also opened eyes and hearts! What a joy!!! We had two meetings there, one with the younger children, and one with the older children. Then after the older children left, some of the neighborhood children who do not go to school, came to the door and asked what was going on??? The Lord was opening another door for His Word! We were able to share the Good News with them! I can still hear the one girl when I asked, "Have you heard this before?" She said, "No." WOW!!! The Lord opened the doors, and he opened the eyes, and the hearts to Jesus!!! What a JOY to see her and others call on the name of the Lord Jesus for salvation!!! HALLELUJAH!!!

Saturday, we went to the market, and once again, we saw the Lord open doors for His Word! Six people gave their lives to Christ! Hallelujah!

What a JOY to worship with the family of God on Sunday morning at Blackman Eddie Baptist Church, and then in the evening at Inglesia Bautista Buena Vista! The Lord is building His church! The gates of hell will not prevail! Hallelujah!

What a reminder the Lord gave us on Monday, that God answers prayer! While we were ministering in the school, Tony and Tom were visiting and encouraging other believers. They met up with a woman whom we met last year. Last year she asked us to pray for her husband to be saved. She shared with them that her husband has been born again, and is serving Jesus in the church in La Gracia! Hallelujah!!!

Please continue to pray for these precious believers in Belize, that they will grow in God's grace and in the knowledge of the Lord! Pray also for John and Beate Vandermark as they continue to serve the Lord Jesus there at Bridge the Gap Belize! Pray for Pastor Mark and Brenda Liedtke and their family as Mark is Pastoring two churches. Pray that the Lord would strengthen them by His grace, and use them for His glory! May the Lord continue to add to His church, and transform lives for the Praise of His Glory!!! ~Ephesians 1.

Thank you for your encouragement to us! It is so refreshing to know that you are standing with us in prayer! Pray for Lakeside Bible Chapel! May the Lord be lifted high and draw hearts to Himself! Pray for the ongoing outreach ministry, that the Lord would give us wisdom to win souls! Pray that the Word of God would run swiftly and be glorified!!!~2.Thess.3:1. May the Lord Jesus be glorified in you and your family! May He send times of refreshing from His presence!!!

We love you and thank the Lord for you!

Brothers and sisters in Christ,

People need the Lord! All around us, and everywhere we go, there is the same urgent need! JESUS! If someone is breathing, they need Jesus! For there is a day that will come to everyone. The Word of God says, "And as it is appointed for men once to die, but after this the judgement." (Heb.9:27) Too many are trying to push this reality out of there minds. They want their ears tickled, and they want them tickled good. But, friend no matter how much we may try to put it off, every day, we are one day closer. Every step, we are one step closer. With every breath, we are one breath closer to this reality. The wisest may who ever lived, King Solomon wrote of the urgent reality. In the book of Proverbs, he wrote, "Hell and destruction are never full." (Prov.27:20) Again, he tells us that the grave is never satisfied, and the fire never says, "Enough!" (Prov.30:15-16) We are living in a day when people do not want to hear of death, and judgement, but it is coming!

Recently I spoke with an elderly woman. She said, "Why would I want to go to heaven? ...When I die I just want to go six feet under ground." And yet the reality still stands..."And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after death the judgement." You may question, "Why so urgent?" or "Why are you even talking about this?" Many people when asked the question, "If you died today, are you sure that you would be in heaven?", they tell me, "I try not to think about it". O Friends! The reality still stands! "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after death the judgement.

Recently, I received word that a man who used to come to church occasionally died suddenly of a heart attack. I remember the last time we spoke. He took his sin as a joke. I remember warning him with the Word of God. Jesus said, "Unless you repent, you will perish." (Lk.13:1-5) He shrugged it off, and ignored the reality. Remember what the apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonian church? "Those who perish" -perish- "Because they did not receive the love of the Truth, that they might be saved." (2.Thess.2:10) This reality is so very sobering! People need the Lord!

The Word of God says that God is..."not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance!" (2.Pet.3:9) "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!" (Rom.5:8) "The Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost." (Lk.19:10) & "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved! How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?" Paul goes on and says, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel of Peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" (Rom.10:9-15)

O Friend! As you carry the Good News, the Lord says, "You have beautiful feet!" The other day, Rachel and I were talking to a young man about Jesus. He said, "You guys are the third people to talk to me today about Jesus." I met a man yesterday, who told me that someone was talking to him about Jesus! Another man told me that some was just talking to him about His need of salvation! HALLELUJAH!!! Somebody has beautiful feet!!! God does not want anyone to go to hell! That is why Jesus died for our sin and rose from the grave! He made the way of salvation! JESUS is the ONLY WAY of salvation! He is sending out His laborers into the harvest field! We must redeem the time! We must go to the lost as dying men and women, reaching out to dying men and women! Jesus said, "I AM the resurrection and the life! He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live! and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die! Do you believe this?" (John 1:25-26)

Jesus said, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few! Therefore PRAY the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest!" (Lk.10:2) He says, "PRAY!" and then He says "GO!". May we answer the call and say, "Here am I, send me!" May the Lord bring in a great harvest of souls for the GLORY of the LAMB!!!

We are so thankful to the Lord for you all! We covet your prayers! Pray that the Lord would give us wisdom as we reach out to the lost. Pray that the Lord would open blind eyes, and turn hearts from darkness to light, from the power of satan to God. (Acts 26:16-18) Pray that Christ Jesus would be glorified in and through His church! Pray that as He is lifted up, hearts would be drawn to Him!

Please pray for me as on Monday, I will be heading down to Belize to join up with the outreach team at Bridge the Gap Ministries. I will be with them fom the 7th through the 15th. Pray! Pray! Pray! May the Lord Jesus be glorified! May the church be edified! May souls be saved! Pray that the Lord would lead us into the works He has prepared for us. (Eph.2:10)

DON'T MISS PRAYER MEETING!! Whatever night your church gathers for prayer, purpose in your heart to be there! Jesus said, "My house shall be called a house of prayer!" (Matt.21:12-16)

Thank you for standing in the GAP on your knees!
We love you, and thank the Lord for you!

Brothers and sisters in Christ,

The Word of God says, "Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him!" (Isaiah 43:7)Think of the wonder! We were made for the glory of God! Even though we "ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God", Christ suffered "to bring many sons to glory!" (Romans 3:23 + Hebrews 2:10) Think of it! "We were dead in trespasses and sin. ...But God who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespass, made us alive together with Christ! By grace you have been saved!" (Ephesians 2:1,4-5) "He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He mad us accepted in the Beloved! In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace!" (Ephesians 1:4-7) NEVER LOOSE THE WONDER!!! As we celebrate the Lord's table, remember the word's of our Savior. He said, "With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God!" (Luke 22:15-16) Fervent Desire! The LORD says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you." (Jeremiah 31:3) "JESUS,...who for the JOY set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God!" (Hebrews 12:2) Oh, stand IN AWE of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!! Live IN AWE of Him!!!NEVER LOOSE THE WONDER!!!

We stand amazed at how the Lord directs our steps!Praise the Lord for the safe move to Bemus Point, New York. What a joy to be with the family of God at Lakeside Bible Chapel It is very different from NYC, but the NEED is the same! Actually as I have been out in the highways and hedges, people have told me how great the need is for souls to be saved. It's everywhere! If someone is breathing air, they need JESUS, because the day is coming when they will stop breathing and stand before the Holy Righteous Judge. Amos declared the Word, "Prepare to meet your God!" (Amos 4:12) Sadly, all too many are not prepared! So many have turned their backs on the Lord. Over and over this week, I heard people say, "I used to go to church" or "I used to believe in Jesus". I met many young people trying to get the next high, but still so empty inside. People need the Lord!  They need to hear the Good News of salvation in Christ alone! There is Bad News everywhere. Every News Paper has an obituary page, and one day my name is going to be there but so will every one that we meet! 10 out of 10 people die! EVERYBODY NEEDS JESUS!!! I must GO as a dying man to dying men!"The Message of the CROSS is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God!" (1 Corinthians 1:18)

PLEASE PRAY WITH US!
PRAY that the Lord would open doors and hearts to the Word of God! PRAY that the Lord would give boldness to speak the Gospel! (Ephesians 6:18-19

PRAY for those that are hearing the Word! PRAY that the Lord would bring conviction over sin, righteousness, and judgment. (John 16:8) PRAY that hearts would truly be turned from darkness to light, from the power of satan to God! (Acts 26:18) PRAY that the Lord would add to His church those being saved!

PRAY for the upcoming trip to Belize. March 7-15. We will be serving with Bridge the Gap Ministries Belize. PRAY that the Lord would keep us from evil, and that the Lord would be glorified in and through us. Pray that He would open doors for the Word and hearts to the Word! Pray that the church would be encouraged, and that souls would be saved and added to the church!

PRAISE THE LORD!!! My Dad seems to be pretty well recovered, and my mom is healing day by day. My mom is walking with a walker now. Her ankle is broke from the accident. The surgeries were successful, and she is recovering. Thank you for all your prayers! Pease continue to pray!

We are so thankful to the Lord that no matter where we are, He goes before and behind us! We are very thankful for your faithful prayers and support! Please continue to pray with us! May the Lord be glorified in His church an may He stretch out His hand and save a people for the glory of His name!!

May the Lord continue to set your heart ablaze for the glory of His holy name! May the joy of the Lord be your strength!

We love you and thank the Lord for you!

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

We thank the Lord for a new year to live for the glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! So much has happened since our last letter. I am reminded of the Scripture that says, "A man's heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps". (Prov.16:9)  On the Tuesday before Christmas, my parents were in a head-on car collision. The car was totaled. We praise the Lord for His grace and protection on their lives! My mom suffered a broken rib, a broken bone in her hand, a sprained back, a sprained ankle, and bruises caused by the seat belt and air bag. My dad suffered mainly bruising in his chest. It is a miracle that they are alive! They are mending. We praise the Lord for what He is doing! Please continue to pray for them.

In prior years, we had been asked to come and serve at Lakeside Bible Chapel, but at those times, we did not have the Lord's leading. We have been praying along with Lakeside Bible Chapel for the Lord's leading. In September of this past year, we were asked again, but felt that the Lord wanted us to remain ministering in the Bronx with Revolution Church. When we were out in Western New York to help my parents after their accident and then on through Christmas and New Year's, we were asked again to consider coming to serve at Lakeside. We said that we would pray, and that we would ask others to pray. I know that in the multitude of counsel, there is safety. (Prov.11:14) We addressed the Revolution Church family about what had happened over Christmas, and asked them to pray that the Lord would make His will clear to us. When we had prayed, our church family said to us, "We think the Lord is calling you to go". They also said, "We can team up with Beacon Bible Church". Beacon Bible Church is the church we helped plant in 1995. Revolution Church and Beacon Bible Church have met together for Friday night prayer since 1998. We asked for continued prayer. We spoke with pastors, and other missionaries. Everyone to whom we have asked to pray has said the same thing--"We believe the Lord is calling you to go". The Lord has confirmed in our hearts and given us peace that this is the leading of the Lord. Sunday, January 24th, will be our last service in Hunts Point. On Sunday, January 31st, Revolution Church will begin to meet and continue with Beacon Bible Church.

We will be making the move out to Western New York to serve with Lakeside Bible Church of Bemus Point, NY in February. We will be serving and helping pastor the church. We will continue with outreach ministry in the area. We will still be involved with missions outreaches to NYC, Belize, and other locations as the Lord leads. His call is still "Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature"! (Mark 16:15) We must go until Jesus comes! We must redeem the time! I have recently been reminded of the time when Paul received the Macedonian call. "Come over to Macedonia and help us!" (Acts 16:6-10) "After he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the Gospel to them". We dare not go if the Lord has not called us to go, and we dare not stay if the Lord has called us to go. Jesus prayed, "Not my will, but Thine, be done". (Luke 22:42)

Please continue to pray with us and for us! The Lord is faithful! We stand in awe of how He has led us through the years, and has faithfully supplied all of our needs! We are so thankful that the Lord has raised you up to stand in the gap with us! No prayer = no power! We are thankful for all your prayers and support through the years! May the Lord be glorified!

Lakeside Bible Chapel will remain our mission base.

We will be living in the Lakeside Bible Church's parsonage.
