Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Thank you so much for standing with us in prayer! We are weak but our God is strong and mighty! "His power is manifest in our weakness!" (2 Cor.12:9) Watch a joy to know that any time, any where, we can "come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need!" (Heb.4:16) We covet your prayers!!! Last Tuesday on the street outreach, someone came up to me and said, "Brother Jeff are you OK?" I said, "No. Everything is not OK." Souls all around us are racing toward hell and they do not see it and they do not care. Yet, think of JESUS who carried our griefs and carried our sorrows. Think of the one Who died for sinful man, who is not willing that any would perish, but desires all to come to repentance. (Rom.5:8, 2 Peter 3:9) How his heart aches for mankind who curses His holy name, and tramples the blood of His Son under foot. Remember how the heart of God ached in the days of Noah? "The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually, and the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart." (Gen.6:5-6) "As I live," says the LORD GOD, "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his ways and live!"
CHURCH, Jesus said, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." (Mark 1:17) Fish do not jump out of the water and land in the bucket that you may have in the boat. Fishermen must GO FISH! Fishermen must go where the fish are! Church, we cannot wait for the lost to come to us, we must GO to them! "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God!" May our hearts be gripped and broken with the burden of the LORD for the souls of the lost!! O how we must redeem the time, for the days are evil! (Eph.5:16) May the LORD give us boldness to open our mouths and tell the Good News that Jesus came to seek and save the lost! (Luke 19:10) We have been called to GO into all the world and preach the Gospel. (Mark 16:15) The Gospel saves, and brings forth fruit! (1 Cor.15:1-4, Col.1:2-6)
Praise the LORD! This past week as we were preaching the Gospel on the street, a woman came over and said, "Sir, you were talking about me. I need Jesus!" Right there the woman open heart heart to the Lord and called on Jesus to save her! Praise the LORD! Please pray for Jamel to grow in her new life with Christ. Also pray that the Lord would open a door for housing for her. She is recovering from a stroke and is in the shelter system. Pray that God's grace would abound to her.
Praise the LORD for Lynette! We met Lynette in our Bible study at the Beth Abraham health facility. She has M.S, and is totally paralyzed. Yet Lynette has received new life in Christ Jesus! She has the JOY of the LORD in her life! She recently started coming out to Revolution Church. She takes access-a-ride. It is quite a production for her to get to church, but she finds it a JOY in pursuing Him who has loved her with an everlasting love! This past Friday in out prayer meeting, she was baptized! HALLELUJAH!! Please pray for Lynette to be strong in the LORD and to grow in God's grace!
Pray for the church!! Pray that the church would be "strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,...rooted and grounded in love!...To know the love of Christ that passes knowledge!...and Be filled with all the fullness of God!" (Eph.3:14-21) May the LORD be glorified in the church!
Keep Burning~\o/~Keep Shining! (Luke 12:35-40, Matt.5:16)
Pray for the ongoing outreach ministry! Pray that the Lord would stretch out His hand and save a people for the glory of His name! Pray for brokenness over sin and radical repentance and faith in Christ! How we need His works to appear!! "Let your work appear to Your servants, and Your glory to their children! And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us! Yes, establish the work of our hands!" (Ps.90:16-17) We covet your prayers!
Be strong in the LORD! ~ Eph.6:10-20
We are praying for you!
